Title: small dwarf apple trees
Post by: bridgehouse on August 26, 2009, 09:50:57

I wonder if someone can give me some advice about moving these trees,They are small dwarf apple trees, they have been in my garden border for three years, and I wondered if I can move them to my allotment without killing them, the trees are not happy in my garden border.
I would be glad of any advice thank you.

Hello saddad I would say the trees are about three ft high and they are being crowded by the border plants etc.

Once they are dormant... after leaf fall... dig them up with a good root ball and they should transplant to the lottie OK...  ;D

As long as you wait till the leaves are off the trees it won't be a problem.
