I've just heard on the news that Bob Dylan would like to do his voice on Sat Nav....progression at last.
I'd just love a Billy Connolly voice telling me where to go ;D
Who would you like?
Linda
If i cannot have Billy Connelly, i would have Shane Ritchie. ;D ;D
Mariella Frostrup!
[attachment=1]
Morgan Freeman
;D
We have Wacko, from the Animaniacs.
He sounds very down and keeps asking are we there yet.
"are we there yet"
::) ::) ::) ;D
We have John Cleese....mind you it drives me mad (pardon the pun) but keeps hubby giggling ;D
FRANK CARSON...FOR ME...ITS THE WAY I TELL EM!!
JTW
I have my dearest, darling wife. Oh sorry I thought you said sat nag ;)
Val Doonican.
Perhaps he could start singing Rafferty's Motor car when things get boring.
Eccles and Bluebottle
Haven't got a car or a sat nav but if I did would love the voice of Martin Shaw, Judge John Deed, or would rather have him in person next to me in the car, I just love his voice.
Like ACE I don't have a sat nav but OH instead... complicated by the fact that she often gets her left and right transposed... :-X
Also don't have a sat nav (unless you count me saying I don't know where we are, but I think we are in the crease of the page ::) )
If I did, I reckon it would have to be Viv Richards :D
richard burton. what a voice.
good choice Simmo I have a few tapes ( ::) ) of him reading Under Milkwood, Rhyme of the Ancient mariner etc. Amazing! Shame we no longer have a tape recorder that works.....
Victor Meldrew or Frank Spencer!
Brian Blessed, can just imagine him booming..make a u turn ;D

but it would make for an "interesting" journey !!
I don't see that as a fault!! :-X
I don't have sat nav, but my choice would be either Stephen Fry, or Bernard Cribbins in the style of the youngest Womble (the one who always sounded unsure about everything, his name escapes me ::))

when he was on Parkie, they did the interview first thing in the morning, with the cleaners as an audience. Any time later, and he'd have been too bladdered to make any sense. So don't plan on driving anywhere after about 9 in the morning
I'd also quite like Stephen Fry, or Alan Rickman at his most sarcastic.....'I said turn LEFT you dolt!' ;D
Kelly-Le-Brocke would be my co-pilot.
Did you know some sat navs allow you to download different voice styles such as James Bond, Bart Simpson and even one with tourettes ::) ::) ::)
One of the 'Sorry I havn't a clue' programmes use a sat nav in Mornington Crescent. You have never heard anything so funny. I have tried to find it on line but have drawn a blank. Humph was still in it then.
I do not have a sat nav but if I did it would have to be John Nettles.

Darling Ace you mean you haven't trained her ;D
Really great voices there folks, maybe a sat nav with different voices once you cross the county boundaries would be fun too.

yup it was superb, but I think (and it is a think!) that Stephen Fry used it when he was doing his stint in the chair ....
Voice change for differrent areas. What a good idea. Going over the border into Scotland and getting a change to a Scottish dialect. What fun.
If you went to Liverpool you'd need a translator... :-X
