How fabulous, (the plots, of course ;D). Those scarecrows would frighten all and sundry I think. ;D :o ;D

Scared the bloody life out of me, especially the one in the green shirt, how does she make them so scarey looking.  :-X       ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Before you get the wrong idea that's just a stray leaf in the lap of the scarecrow in the second photo...  :-X

Not that I zoomed in to check or anything... (http://bestsmileys.com/eek/3.gif)

Looks like everyone had a great day, although I fear for the future of the scarecrows. :(

Fantastic! Maybe you should start a poll on here instead  ;)

Beautiful plots (gardens) and good to hear it was a successful day

Glad you liked them David, they are my favourite.  I've just cooked a big pan of them for our meal this evening.

Where did you get your seeds from?

In the local garden centre...  but from the Seeds of Italy range... reduced because of the light damage on the packet but still in date to 2011...
Would you like me to send you some?  ???

That's really nice of you, but I've just checked the packet I bought this year and there are about 30 seeds left.  I had made a note of how many there were in the packet when I opened it and I'm slightly embarrassed to say that it means I sowed 24 and most of them germinated!

Thank you  :) Saddad took the photos, they are lovely aren't they?

Yes, I'm Betty.  I managed to avoid running a stall on the day, so I was able to take people around the site and have nice chats with them.

I've been given another boiler suit for yet another scarecrow!  Not sure if I have any more duvets though so I might have to check out the local charity shop.
