Just bumping this in case anyone missed it. Thanks for the heads up flighty.
Great film
The dvd has a few extras..shows how they built the allotment and how they kept it looking good ( was almost as good as the film that bit)
Welcome to A4A Beanqueen... We have it on DVD too... :)
Ceres thanks for doing that! You're welcome!
i wonder if it will be repeated on i player the tv is my OH own at 21.00 on friday nights :'(
I found it quite charming and insightful. Very apposite about allotment politics albeit not much on growing, but then that is not what it was about. Thank you Flighty.
Thanks Flighty, I may of missed it without your reminder, loved it, ;D
Grawrc and Flossy you're welcome, and like you I really enjoyed it!
Yeah good film. I thought the soundtrack was good aswell.
I bought the DVD ages ago when it was about £3 on Amazon. Didn't any of you find the story of the refugee family really sad? :'( I won't give the story away for those of you who have not watched it yet
mat
Caught the last 10 minutes of it last night thank god for BBC i player ;) ;)
Oops - there's another thread (http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,54377.0.html) about this on the forum!
I watched the show and blogged me thoughts. (http://seaforthallotments.blogspot.com/2009/08/review-grow-your-own-bbc2.html)
It was interesting, if predictable...
Good to see allotments getting some publicity, though. :)
