Has anyone got one of these?
My Granddaughter has moved into a flat and has asked me if she should buy one.
I had never heard of them until I just googled. Would it be one of those gadgets that you discard or is it a thing of the future? I remember when M/Ws came out that some people thought they were passing fad. So which is this do you think please. Should she go for a conventional oven?
Concerned Grandma.
There are a few mixed reviews here...

It seems like just another "worktop filler", like breadmakers, George Formby grills and toasted sandwich makers which hardly ever get used.
I think it's intended as an addition to a normal oven, rather than a replacement.
Thanks for that. I am wading thro' it. Says it does not replace a conventional oven.

I've got a bread maker and a George both of which we use regularly the latter makes toasted sandwichs so I don;t need the third "worktop filler" :P
we've got a George Formby grill. Everything turns out nice (again) ;D
You are wicked R/T.
I use my breadmaker nearly every day.
Thanks for comments, and info.
I use my bread maker frequently and my George Forman is great for quick cooking of burgers chicken breasts etc. The halogen hob is okay in theory but your grandaughter might be better off with a little mini oven like these.

The halogen looks good and its a nice idea for caravan owners and students!
