Do slugs like tobbaco? I've noticed they seem to go for the cigarette ends.
I know they like beer!!!!

hedgehogs like cigarette butts they chew them up and start salivating and then rub the saliva over their spikes, perhaps to deter fleas and the like. But wouldn't like to think that they are getting addicted to them ???.
Slugs and snails love paper so maybe that is what they are targeting. We are supposed to soak labels off tins and jars before recycling but I find that if I don't bother, the slugs do it for me anyway.

This is a well-known hedgehog habit, but I didn't know it was triggered by tobacco.
