Congrats on your beautiful lillies.  Mine would have looked as good except for the dreaded beetle.  The flowers have survived but the foliage is a mess.  I tried to pick off and squash everyone that I saw. How did you do it? Do you spray or use magic?

I didn't get it either; I've only seen it once. I suspect a lot depends on where you are.

I google the dreaded Lily Beetle and see that the grubs do the damage.  I will also look out for them.  I wonder if I should remove the bulbs and clean them and put them in fresh soil for next year. They devastated my lillies this year and it seems as though the bulbs will not be very good next year now.  Such is life.

The beetle doesn't affect the bulbs, so I should leave them!

It's vine weevil that wreck lily and any other bulb in pots...  :-X
