Down the allotment.
I was digging out some spuds when a few friends paid a visit for coffee so we , and the long haired general were having a chat when we joined by another whom her indoors is not very fond of because of his attitude toward women (MSP).
One of the lads, Tom picked up a couple of very small spuds and asked can you remember what our dads used to call these, Pig potatoes was the reply because they were that small they got fed to the pigs cos you could not be bothered to peel them.
Not waisted now as we have electric potato peelers. said another
Then the one who the wife dislikes spoke up and said,
" What do you want a potato peeler for you got a wife haven't you "
all went silent for a moment,
after that moment of silence was when the war broke out.
