Tens of millions of ladybirds have swarmed into the UK
Parts of Somerset and Norfolk have seen cars, roads and buildings covered in a thick carpet of the creatures.
Experts say they are thriving on a bumper crop of their favourite food, aphids, thanks to hot and wet weather
jtw
daughters on the norfolk broads at the moment she says
theres millions of um
could do with them on my lottie greenfly everywhere :D
Watch out, the last time this happened they ran out of food and then they started biting and can give you quite a nip, once you get thrity of forty of the things on your arm it is difficult getting them off fast enough.
Not seen many here in Norwich - only a few - but am going up to the coast tomorrow for a weeks holiday with the family and from what I have seen on the local news not really looking forward to it :o
I knew i could remember this happening when i was younger i mentioned it to some friends they thought i was going mad. I Can remember going to the beach with my parents i have never seen anything like it. millions of ladybirds dad had to put the windscreen wipers on they were so bad. Ended up coming home early.
been plenty on the east coast

Not seen any on the south coast yet
