just had a final demand from the council with the threat of legal action, for non payment of rent on the lottie! Trouble is the last letter we had from them at the start of July was - we haven't sent out any letters for rent, as we're updating our system :D
Time to administer a b0llocking on some poor person whose fault it isn't
Take it out on me, it's absolutely nothing to do with me.... so I'm a prime candidate... and I have broad shoulders I won't be claiming PTSD afterwards... ;D
actually we have high hopes of the new council bloke who deals with the allotments - he actually has an allotment! It's on the Wirral though, so it's probably called something a bit more posh
found out yesterday that the useless person whose job it was last, wouldn't let out the 2 vacant plots we have for Health and Safety reasons - because they had lots of brambles :D
RT, is this related to a previous topic -- if so can you lead me to it -[ not pc yet ] , If it is
the one I think it is , thought it was sorted ?
floss ,
no flossy this is a new topic unrelated to any other. Don't quite know what you mean. I'm sorted, though when I tried to pay - the automatic message said -Payment system down, please ring tomorrow ;D
I had a letter months ago saying I hadn't paid my rent in 2007, but after a rather blunt, lengthy and the truth may hurt about your crappy admin letter, it wasn't only quashed but I was refunded twenty five quid for over payments and given an apology for any stress it may have caused. :( ;D ;D ;D
So glad RT, hope you are sorted now, ! :-\
It were that little whatsit cornykev that I was thinking off, ;D

Blimey, £25 off, don't think I paid mine in 1900 or whatever. ;D ;D ;D They should have given me that job at the Civic Centre for allotments, but perhaps they thought I was either too old or too clever. Can't remember whether I applied or not, must be old age.

better keep the Rhubarb and the Thrashing under wraps, peeps. I don't want to end up on the cover of the Daily Mail. Anyone got Max Clifford's mobile number?
hey i am 50 on the waiting list here in chester am sitting here waiting from beeston view to become availiable, i am slowley making my veg patch bigger in my mum's garden .... just removing 3 trees for my greenhouse...... lol. from my request of the council put in more plots on the west side of the a483 mr chapman from the council said he needs £50,000 from the council to set up 40 new plots, ha like that is ever gonna happen, and is it true that he has just opened another 25 plots on beeston view 2???
Hi johnny
i'm at beeston view (the old one) Yes new plots have just been let next door. They let a few plots there earlier in the year. They let them rent free apparently, because the council had lost their copy of the lease agrrement with the Grosvenor Estate, and they weren't sure what was what (but don't quote me on that :D)
i have spoken to a member of the grosvenor estate myself they are contemplating setting up private allotments, i have offered to do all work for them free of charge just so long as i get a plot!!! but this is only at hmmm and ahhh ing stage it may not come to anything.....
