I have lifted my onions and laid them on the ground but with all the rain and more forecast think I need to move them. I'm a bit short of space though, so I was wondering if they would dry ok in my mini greenhouse, the shelves would be perfect for hanging the onions upside down. Does this sound like a good idea?

yep, they will be fine,in a normal glass greenhouse it would be too hot,but fine in a plastic mini
Any where where they get good air circulation
I have mine in garden on old green house staging Wire type
And a Tarpaulin over Wind get under but stays drying
Working well
:)
This is exactly what I have done. They've been there 4 days now and look fine. The mesh the shelves are made of was perfect for poking the onion stalks through with the bulb resting upside down through the mesh ( hope that's the right way !!) The mini greenhouse is the argos one I bought earlier in the year ( only blew away once and lesson learnt , well secured now !!!
I'm drying mine in the mini keeping the door rolled up.
Great thanks peeps, I'll go and get them now before the rain comes again ::)
