Title: Little White Flies
Post by: chippy queen on August 01, 2009, 15:54:56
I have just been up the lottie and picked a couple of cabbages.  When I picked them a lot of little white flies flew out.  Does anyone know wheat they could be.  The cabbages seem ok and not eaten ??? ??? ???

" White fly"... not a real pest but irritating. Growing marigolds (tagates) with them or African/ French types (not English Pot) can help...  :)

They are sap suckers that live on the underside of the leaves of all brassicas...  :)
