Title: chest freezer...HELP

Has anyone got any hints on storage in a chest freezer?no matter how many times i "organise" it putting stuff in different coloured bags i still end up foraging in the bottom growling like a grizzly >:(Yesterday i scared the grandchildren to death and i was only looking for icecream :o My OH has threatened to take it down the tip HELLLLLP ???

Trade it for an upright... all three of ours are uprights.. and OH still throws away bags of fruit that got lost for over a year...  :-[

You are doing well if you have ice cream in your ice cream containers, it is pot luck what I have got in mine but never ice cream.  Spagetti bolognese sauce or turkey soup is OK for afters, but not popular with the grand children when I promised them choc. icecream.  The only thing I can suggest is don't go shopping for a month and then you will have to eat all the stuff out of the freezer that you forget you have in it.
