I *think* that I may have the early stages of blight on my tomato plants. I will spray them ASAP with dithane.
-On one of the smaller green toms there is a brown spot. Is this a symptom of blight? It is not dark brown.
-Should I spray the fruit, or just the leaves and stem?
Ta.
It could be blight. It could also be physical damage or blossom end rot. Are the leaves showing any signs, usually the leaves would show first.
Spraying is most effective before the plants are infected. If they already have blight, the best you can hope for is to slow it down long enough to hopefully get some ripe then take the rest as green tomatoes. You need to spray everything, tops and bottoms of leaves, stems and fruit and keep spraying at the recommended intervals.

A few leaves had very small blight spots on, but I removed them as ssoon as I spotted them. One of my plants has hardly any leaves left!
