Well I'm back in one piece, sorry Davy didn't see your message until today, the puter was playing up after I put the message on. I went to Durham (Friday) for the day on the bus and it looks like we went past your allotment Davy, the outlaws were pointing out that the streets were numbers, first street, second street and so on, at the end of these I noticed one was called Arnold street because it was my mates name and looking at your profile Davy your allotments seem to be behind these streets, you may have even got on the bus we were on, I did notice some kids getting on the bus with their ferrets hidden in their coats, you weren't with them were you Davy. ;)
Had a day out at Newcastle on the train, after the bus ride to Durham took an hour and a twenty mins we thought we'd give the train a go. Lots of shops there and I spent a few quid there, it should keep their economy going for a while.  ;)
I won't have another holiday now for 26 days then its off to Clacton for a week of caravaning, I might even visit a few old peoples homes in Holland on sea. :-X  :-*     ;D ;D ;D

After watching Wrainrights (excuse spelling) on TV last night, anyone fancy doing the Coast to Coast.  Started it 12 years ago but had to come home due to daughter having early baby and wanting Mum.  Would love to do it, but maybe too old. (Don't answer that).

Have done two cycling holidays, Hungarian Plains, which was flat (obviously) and Germany.  I can only cycle to the allotment now and Morrisons on the pavement.  Can't go up hills.  Haven't seen you on Enfield Playing Fields, where my allotment is, promises, promises.  Perhaps you can't walk that far.  ;D ;D ;D.  Looked up the Coast to Coast with Holiday Fellowship and the longest walk in a day is 22 miles.  Sounds good to me, very tempted.

They would have been Kev they are the only ones there, you would have had a better view coming back. You would have seen the lotties then the sea behind. As you left Blackhall and down the bank the viaduct on the right is quite famous locally for suicides there was two there the week before you came up.
When you were at Durham, did you have a look at the statue of the Hussar on horse back, there is an intresting tale about it.   Its a lovely place to visit, Durham City, we some times go just for a day out (no shopping ) go by bus which means i can have a pint.
