Thanks BAK, that's another good site to bookmark. Confirmed my conclusion that my earlies are just dying back naturally, not through blight.

thanks, bak..might print the blight photos out and put them up in the communal shed, we had some new people pull all their new potatoes as they were told it was blight and it was just die back  :-\
