We had to cut the haulms from our second earlies 2 weeks ago because of blight. If the weather is wet could they go in the greenhouse to dry for a couple of hours or are we best leaving them in the ground a bit longer until we get a sunny day? They are vivaldi & hunter.
Hi,
If you have removed the haulms then they are ok where they are, i removed mine on my early's weeks ago and just leave them in the ground. The main crop will be dug up and stored in paper sacks.
Thats a good idea pop them in the greenhouse, looks like a wet week here again.
