i've got a couple of pepper plants if i remember correctly the are called "bell boy" a green pepper, i'm getting plenty of peppers on them but the problem is they taste bitter any idea why they are like this  :)

I find Bell Boy bitter at the green stage... better when red.  :-\

How big are they?

Yes - bitter when not fully formed, but needed for Green Peppers in many recipes when full blown. They freeze fine.

Red is certainly more used but takes another 2 weeks or so.

i would probably say they were a bit on the small side, but i had a couple start to rot at the top so i thought i had been leaving them to long.
