Title: All potatoes leaves have been eaten by slugs
Post by: davholla on July 15, 2009, 15:55:34
Is there any hope left for my potato plants which are in grow bags and I think now free of slugs.

Well if they are early varieties then the spuds will be grown by now and ready to dig.  Most of the tops of my earlies went south care of slugs etc but the spuds are fine.  If they are late maincroppers then they probably wont grow anymore if there is nothing on top.
Do you know what they are?

Not really they were 2 yellow potatoes my wife brought back from Colombia.  So not really an early or a main cropper more an experiment.  I could see if there are any spuds in the soil.
