Title: Pumpkin Powdery Mildew
Post by: skyblu on July 15, 2009, 14:40:06
All of my pumpkins have developed powdery mildew on the leaves - they are watered into the ground rather than over the leaves so I am disappointed to see this develop.  The leaves now look rather small in comparison to all the other squash which seem unaffected - but the pumpkins themselves are still growing and developing nicely, with some now turning orange.

What shall I do? leave it and see? remove all leaves? any other options other than ripping the lot out? (which would seem harsh given how well they are developing).

Im sure I saw someone say you can spray the leaves with diluted milk to help.
