Must have grown the wrong variety, no zips in mine.

Why don't they make them simple like peas?

Showing your age, TG. No - I do it between sips of Chardonnay!!

Only figured it last year - SO much faster & less bruising. I started doing each one separately.

PS When you steam them (always) DO leave a bit of crunch in them! 2-3 mins.
