Title: Sowing Broad Beans in July
Post by: GodfreyRob on July 08, 2009, 09:41:15
Just read that you can sow The Sutton (dwarf) broad bean up to July.  If this is true I would go for it as I love broad beans (and they freeze well too).

Has anyone tried this and if so what were the results and where in the country are you?

Thanks

....I hope so GodfreyRob - I put some in a couple of weeks ago.   I am in Kent (dartford).

Mine are going in this week, once the rain slows up.
