Title: Brilliant idea I've learned
Post by: TrailRat on October 03, 2004, 09:28:56
Recently after reading yesterdays Time's suppliment I came across an article for scheme thats been floating around for a while. It's called freecycling, where you can get stuff for free and you can get rid of all that useless junk to someone that would make use of it or want it. I think it's a great idea.
Link for the central site is http://freecycle.org/
All you have to do is find your city and join the group site and start Freecycling. This is a brilliant idea. And I'm sure you guys and gals know me by now not to advertise spam. At least I hope so any.
Wasn't sure where post it so the shed seemed like a good a place as any.

Hi,

I didn't see that but its a great idea.

On Gardeners World on Friday it showed Leamington Spa Councils scheme where people take things to the tip and you can go and take it away for free if you can use it. Hope this catches on to all councils.

Gail.

At our local tip, anything considered useable is for sale, the price decided by the staff. Some are a bargain, some are not.  :(
