Hi all I'm back home, it was Sunny  8)  after we had our breakie and got out and about, we stayed in the La Fleur de Lys, the rooms were lovely and only a 3 min walk from Gold Hill Street where they filmed the hovis advert. We were lucky  as they had the gold hill festival on this weekend with kids rides, a french market and other stalls, locals dressed in medieval clothes, Morris dancers, a parade where all the children showed off their banners, flags and masks and a group playing the drums. The locals were very friendly and we had a nice pub lunch. No mares tail on their growing patch at the wedding venue, which was called Coppleridge Inn, the civil ceremony and reception were held there, while they was taking the photo's I spotted the growing patch which was about 20x75 feet.       ;D ;D ;D

If I had a bit more time this morning I'd have given it a bash Shirl, I'll have to sort out the piccies when I was in Bournemouth, my mates were in a pantomine horse and I was in a jockeys outfit riding them along the road down near the pier. We changed our hotel and golf courses Dawn so I didn't get in touch with you because I couldn't get my bearings, it took me 9 years to get my bearings then my mate went and changed all the itinery. We stayed in the shaftsbury area in Dorset and got off the train in Gillingham, so that was a fair way from you Dawn but I did notice that you missed a bit of dusting in the top left corner above the fireplace, I think its a small spiders web.       :-X :-X :-X        ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well I saw someone yesterday on our allotment taking/stealing marestail in a bunch to take home.  Wonder what they were doing with it!!!  Maybe cleaning their pots and pans.  Hope they want some more, must be a use for it somewhere.  I think mine is getting fed up with me as I keep chopping, cutting and pulling and when it comes up again it does look weaker but have plenty if you need some.  :( :( :( :(  What happened to all the rain, it missed Enfield.

Just thought of a good idea, sell marestail on ebay.  Someone will buy it.

just soak a load of it in water until it breaks down into a solution, then spray onto onions or anything else that is susceptible to fungus. ;)  ;D ;D ;D

I bet I have more horse tail/mares than Kev.  Seems to like Enfield, and perhaps all the free compost we get is full of the stuff and it spreads about.

My marestail's not to bad, but I have be pulling it as soon as I see it so I suppose it doesn't seem much when your not seeing it all in one go. We have only just started getting the free compost so I will have to wait on that one Borlotti. Good idea though Shirl I could pick everybody elses maresstail and sell the stuff back to them.  :-\   ???    :-*    ;D ;D ;D
