I ordered 2 dwarf apple and a pear tree from a catalogue, they arrived yesterday.
Poor things were a bit dried up in their packing, so I popped them straight into a tray of water. I have now noticed that the pears leaves are a bit dried and yellow, and some of the leaves have small grey spots on them. One of the apples has a fine grey dust on a couple of leaves - some sort of mould maybe??
Does anyone know if they should recover, or should I get onto the catalogue to send replacements?
Thanks!
im no alan titchmarsh and new to gardening, but if your not happy i'd have a word anyway.just in case they dont recover, they may say its too late if you leave it too long to have a moan
Are they in pots? It's really the wrong time of the year for planting them if they're not in pots......I mean grown in pots not just put in a pot of soil and posted.
