Pics were taken on son's phone. Grandson did film so we have a good record of the wedding.
So glad that you had a good time Lorna. Pity the pics are small cos with my eyesight am having to squint. From what I can see it looks as if it all went well
Hmm!! Thought they would enlarge if clicked on. Trying one more, if not will have to ask son for answer!!
Lovely pics lorna. Did anyone attach brooms to the back of the bride and grooms car? Have seen this many times when we've seen weddings in France. Would love to find out the story behind this tradition.

stunning location
glad you had a nice day
Twinkletoes. The bride and family spent the night before and the night after the wedding at the Chateau. We all then went to their barn/house on Sunday for a BBQ. Will ask Niece if they know the story of the brooms.
Greenwizard. I wish I could put the film on here that my Grandson took of the Chateau and the grounds, as you say such a stunning location.
I do hope your niece knows the answer Lorna. Where in France is the Chateau?

Twinkletoes. Chateau de la Flocelliere, it is in the middle of the village of Flocelliere. Vendee area I think!! If you google it there is quite a good description of it.
That last one was ok Lorna but the others still dont enlarge
Shirl, you know what a dope I am with a PC. My son had put them on Facebook as I have loads of family down South who wanted to see the pics. I transferred them to my photo file then to A4A, in my ignorance I thought they would enlarge. The last one I enlarged first then posted it. When son comes I will ask him proper way as at the moment I can only work out how to repeat what I did for the last one but I think I would have to post one at a time. Shirl it is my age you know ;D
looks like a lovely family day, glad you had a good time and the sun shone on you all :)
Not to worry Lorna. It takes me ages to get to grips with some things on the pc. You are so right when you say ask the grandchidren ;D
