Title: Peppers
Post by: Hosta on June 30, 2009, 15:24:19
My plants dont seem to have grown very much but have plenty flowers/buds which I think if left to grow into peppers will be very distorted because of the size of the plant - what have I done wrong ?

They are in pots in the greenhouse.

I will keep an eye on them.
I cut off a couple of crazy shaped small peppers already because it didnt look right.

I find my peppers are often odd-shaped, whatever variety I grow,  as if they don't expand properly: they rarely look like the perfect specimens in supermarkets - I eat them just the same though. I couldn't bear to nip my first-borns in the bud.

Odd shaped peppers are the norm, and in the rest of the world supermarkets sell them. It's just here we get the perfectly formed uniform bell peppers.
