Few snaps taken this morning on a dew covered, sundrenched plot in Essex.
(http://img83.exs.cx/img83/4667/sprouts.jpg) Christmas dinner sprouts forming nicely.
(http://img83.exs.cx/img83/8558/brightlights.jpg) (http://img83.exs.cx/img83/7708/brightlights1.jpg) Glorious bright lights.
(http://img83.exs.cx/img83/4930/ruby.jpg) Ruby chard.
(http://img83.exs.cx/img83/9194/plot2.jpg) The worked half of plot number 2. Cut down the beans today and hung them to dry in my shed.
(http://img83.exs.cx/img83/7239/celeriac.jpg) A neat row of celeriac. Delicious mashed with lots of pepper and butter!
(http://img83.exs.cx/img83/1465/forknox.jpg) Looks a bit like Fort Knox this part of plot number one, but there is a 'large' deer doing the rounds on our plot and I don't want to loose my lovely veggies to him! Plus I have to battle with the pigeons, magpies, Jays and the occassional Hare! It may not be pretty, but wow is it productive!!
think you deserve a big pat on the back EJ, it all looks fab, well looked after and v.v. productive.
i echo what tim said recently 'where DO you find the time?'!! :)
All the pleasure & fresh air without struggling into my wellies! = Tim
