Would any of you know where to get the old style paper potatoe sacks, for storage..thanks shirley
ascotts do them but you can only buy in bulk so you may want to chip in with a few folk!
Speaking of chips... our chippy will give you as many as you want... just ask, there spuds come in paper sacks and they get through quite a few... :)
I bought a pack (of five I think) last year at Poundland. Though I don't want to raise your hopes - haven't seen them so far this year. But you never know, they may stock them again.
Thank you didn't think of the chippy but knowing my luck they get them already chopped and in plastic bags ....lol...

Do you have any stables or farmers nearby? Most folk bin their 25kg feed sacks, which are not dissimilar to the potato bags Saddad mentioned. ;)
Try this not as bad as i first thought.

I used to use feed sacks when we kept livestock, but only the ones that had held the likes of flaked maize or peas - never fancied what residues might be left from layers pellets.
