Title: Outdoor cucumbers
Post by: Paulines7 on June 20, 2009, 19:01:57
Help please.  I had some small cucumber seedlings which I put outside in their pots before I went on holiday 11 days ago.  Unfortunately none of them have survived.  Am I too late to sow some more seeds indoors in pots on a sunny window-ledge and am I likely to get the plants big enough to fruit this year?

I suppose the only other solution would be to go out and buy fully grown plants but it seems a waste of money when I have the seeds.

I'd say it's a bit late but since you have the seeds, nothing ventured, nothing gained.  Good luck.   :)

:D marketmore, grannyjanny, if they grow they grow if not it doesn't matter, the weather has been terrible here for the last few weeks ,either very hot and windy or very cold and windy so I will take a gamble  ;D / shades x
