We have some slate chips in our garden and dont have cat problems - they prefer the bark chips I had previously!!

You lucky peeps...

My biggest problem is me - When I dig over the beds rather too much soil falls on the paths and makes a mess, as well as letting weeds take over the shingle paths...

Hi Hector,

When buying gravel for a path they say to go for the bigger stones as the weight of them makes it too difficult for the cats to use, so it is worth checking the size of your slate chippings.  We have some in the back garden, similar size chips to Saddad's and no problem with those.

Hope it works for you.

I remember riding a tandem round your area many years ago!

T.
