Title: Beans : should I be worried?
Post by: Hector on June 17, 2009, 21:13:27
This is my Borlotti beans...lots of room between them and peas near them are fine...only bottom leaves affected

This is my trail of tears

If it's only the bottom leaves on the Barlotti they should be fine, have you had heavy rain? Were they direct sown or transplants? The T-O-T look fine.  :-\

thank you. It's strange. All were transplanted. One lot were done in roottrainers...others in peat pots, think dodgy ones were peat pots but not sure...we have had torrential rain :)

I wouldn't worry.  If it's any comfort, my borlotti beans started off looking yellow and sickly but have now zoomed away up the canes. The leaves are naturally yellower than other beans.
