They're not brilliant - it's worth feeding the pulp through more than once - but the better machines are a lot more money.
Yes, that's a real bargain. My machine which looks very similar, came from Seeds of Italy and it's great. I feed skinless toms through 4 or 5 times-or until nothing more can be extracted. Wouldn't be without it.
I was given one from Seeds of Italy for Christmas year before last. But last year's tomatoes all got blighted.
I tried the machine out with oranges, and it was frightfully messy. I hope tomatoes fare better.

Ya have to get a system going, like doing it on a heavy tray or similar. Not actually tried any other fruits myself though.
