Is this trailing or a climber...says different things in google-land :) I assume it's a full sun job? I was wondering re planting in containers (size?) and trying to trail up sunny side of garage (can plant in soil as hardcore extends beyond garage.
we grew these a couple of years ago..they were a small climber, under cover and grew like mad, literally, couldn't keep up with them..if they get too big, pickle 'em ;D
Do you think they would ripen outside?
don't think you would have a problem, it might actually slow them down a bit ;D
I had some seeds in a swap a couple years ago, but forgot what they were and couldn't read my writing. So this is what they were
Another "Lost Food of the Incas" I expect, like those exploding cucumbers ;D

I thought about getting those and chickened out!
Manics....visions of going into garden with a machete!
Forgot to ask, would the Melothrie's self cling to rough render??????
we stuck some string across to hold them up until they started clinging themselves, don't know about rough render though ??? :)
Will try them one in a big pot against front of house....render is old/rogh but can put in strings/eyelets....might improve look of the house ::)
I see I forgot to try this last season....may give this a stab....how do you prefer to grow yours?
