use the stems rhubarb and apple in pie or crumble
the leaves are very nice with fish
use the leaves in salad
but the herb must not be used if you are going to have a baby or if you are
diabetic.

if you let it flower the plant will die but it self seeds.

3/4 lb stalks
1lb g sugar

cut angelica to size needed
bring to boil in water, cook 5 mins, drain and dry
layer in bowl with sugar, leave for 3 or 4 days
then in a very heavy pan bring to boil simmer until the angelica is tender and looks clear
drain
roll in more sugar if you want it crunchy
dry out in a very low oven
