Here are a few photos of my plants, most of which are growing in the shady border with the exception of the Poppy and the Lonicera.
If anyone knows what the Poppy is I'd be pleased to know. I bought it at a plant stall when it was a baby and it was simply labelled 'Wild Poppy'! ;D

Lovely pics as always G. :)
Nice show....and if your poppies are grouped 3/4 at the stem tops, have a look at Meconopsis, G. (Nearest likeness I can find)
Ken.
PS: I'll swap your blues for some of my reds?
Thanks Betula.
I hope they do not turn out to be blue Poppies (Meconopsis) Ken as they are in the wrong place (and I'm not very keen on them). I want simple red Poppies. ;D

Sorry G. As you know with this connection I cannot view the slide show so I cannot see the picture of the poppy to help. Same goes for anyone who post pictures which come up as thumbnails to be enlarged. I can see that but the larger version never appears. It has taken 30 minutes of trying to even post this!

Lovely photos Georgie. Thanks for sharing.
I cannot see the slide show either, I have problems it seems with my security settings. Very frustrating.

The Poppy is going to be red. Just a hint of colour this evening as the bud begins to open. ;D

And look what was there to greet me this morning. A little fancy for my taste but rather splendid all the same. :)

Oh dear that's a shame. When did you sow it? I've had to stop growing it here for a while because Silybum and active two year olds don't mix - so I'm afraid I haven't got any more seeds. :(

Thanks. :) I gave up on grass apart from a narrow strip of path a number of years back when my daughter had outgrown playing in the garden. I think it was the best thing I ever did space wise and mowing the grass takes about two minutes now! ;D
