Title: Monsoon!
Post by: Justy on June 06, 2009, 08:53:59
OMG - the weather here is SO bad today. It has not stopped raining now all night. It just alternates between really hammering it down and then just heavy rain.   >:(

Does it not know that for us full time workers today is the only day to get down the lottie?

I would not like to think of myself as a fair weather gardener but even I draw the line at going out in this! Oh well the plants will like it I guess.

The plants will love it but im sat in the conservatory watching it bucket it down and itching like you get on the lottie but alas ill  have to settle for looking at the rain soaked garden and reading the papers and browsing thought A4L and seeing what other people are upto. :-[

It is STILL raining! I have been down to the lottie to show it to my sister who has been visiting for first time  in years.  I have to say the plants are all looking very perky and happy - unlike me!

Ok - I now think I will be ripping up my raised beds and using the wood to build an Ark!! 24 hours on and it is still raining.  It is not particularly heavy here now but just very steady. Reminds me of the weather a couple of years ago when we had the summer floods....
