Title: Pepper Rubens - NOT!
Post by: ceres on May 31, 2009, 15:31:39
I got a few Pepper Rubens seeds in one of the swaps and they have turned out to be tomatoes!  Does anyone remember putting them in the swap and have an idea what variety they might be?  I've just finished planting out my toms and don't really have space for any more but if they are something special, I'll try to find a corner.

Oh dear! :-\

I can't help on the mix up front, but if you want to come to our plant sale on Sunday I can sell you some Rubens peppers I've grown from seed to replace them! ;) ;D

Love to, but you're just a bit too far for a day trip!  Good luck with the sale - hope the sun keeps shining for it.

Will be sorting out the peppers later today to take down to the 'big' greenhouse for the sale......there wasn't much room left when I took my tomatoes down yesterday! Should have plenty of Rubens though, I'll ask Saddad to put some by for you! ;D

My daughter brought home a little packet with what was supposed to be a pepper with growing istructions for a pepper from her rainbow club, have put the tomato/pepper in the corner of the greenhouse to see what type of tomato it is or a new type of Tomepper.    :)
