might be a silly question but i dug up some stray ones from last year and from two plants got over 5lb of spuds and they are delicious but the plants never flowered
Apparently not. My Swift earlies didn't that I started harvesting today.
well flighty that is partly why i asked the question the first earlies i put in (cant remember the type) look to be dying back as if they are ready but have not even had the first sign of a flower, how did you know yours were ready?
Debs I kept a note of when I put them in and waited ten weeks! I was also told that they don't flower and that when they started to die back they'd be ready. Sure enough that's what happened.
ive just checked mine and they were planted eleven weeks ago and are starting to die back, time for a furtle me thinks ;D
Debs I reckon so, good luck!
thanks ;D just when i need the extra room too lol
I do just love this word furtle or firtle. I have rooted around before. But now I can furtle. Wonderful.
Digeroo there's firkle as well! All fun words!
I'm all fer firkling
I firkled today. :P ;D ;D ;D
ooh folks i had a furtle, a firtle, a furkle and firkle, found me some lovely spuds yum yum will dig some of the others later on
