Title: I NEED ADVICE URGENTLY PLEASE
Post by: mpdjulie on May 31, 2009, 09:54:09
I have just emptied and moved my daughter's 8ft pool from the garden only to find that underneath the grass has gone grey and very very smelly.  I put it down when the weather was dry last Sunday.  Is the grass dead there now and will it stay smelly?  Is there anything I can do for it?
Thanks

Hi Mpdjulie,

The grass should be fine if it has only been covered for a week or so.  :)

It will take a few weeks to recover.

go over the area with a fork, making a series of holes, this will allow air to the roots after being crushed by all the weight of water in the pool, then get your OH to pee in a watering can, and irrigate the area with this free, high nitrogen fertilizer!!
