Title: Sweet pepper question
Post by: plot51A on May 30, 2009, 09:07:54
I am planning to grow peppers in a grow bag. Would they benefit from being planted in a pot with the bottom cut out like people recommend for tomatoes or are their root system/feeding roots different?

Many thanks
Anne

Yes, but not as deep as tomatoes, they produce extra roots from the buried stem like tomatoes do.

i aways grow my sweet peppers in 10 inch pots with holes in the bottom.

just stood on the concrete floor of the greenhouse.

there very easy to grow.

just keep them waterd and a regular feed with tomato food.

they should be fine.
