Title: Frazzled squash
Post by: lewic on May 26, 2009, 19:36:01
My Burgess Vine Buttercup squash seedlings got frazzled in the mini greenhouse, they are about an inch high with two leaves, and I came back from a weekend away to find they had turned yellow and were drooping.

Are they likely to be dead? I have now planted them in the ground with plastic bottles over a couple of them but they havent had any hardening off..

sounds like they are cooked, those mini-greenhouses are lethal on a hot day!

I've got a few more seeds left so will try planting them, but not in the greenhouse. If they all survive I'll be overrun with squash!
