Title: Thyme
Post by: Borlotti on May 20, 2009, 11:14:26
Found a lovely thyme plant that Manuel had given me last year, he has got it planted as a border.  It was stuck in poor soil in a corner so I dug it up, brought it home for some loving care and replanted it in compost.  Thought it would be better at home in a pot and could use it for cooking.  Think I have made a mistake as reading on here think I should have left it in the poor soil as think the compost I have put it in may be too rich.  Never mind, I am sure Manuel will give me some more.  Just loved the smell of it, sometimes plants choose where they like to grow and do not like too much interference and moving around.

Think I will split it and plant around the garden.
