Know this may be unpopular, but OH and his Dad shoot on a farmers land as part of his rabbit control. As a result have rabbit in freezer and some diced rabbit that I am looking to make in a pie...
Anyone have any good rabbit pie recipes or any others as I am keen that if they are doing this, the rabbit must be put to good use and not wasted.....

I think cooking on the bone makes it less likely to dry up. Don't get much rabbit in this country, and my lot are not too keen on it.

Just one thing Grandmother told me she made a mistake about during the war, seems that you have to break the back bone because rabbit poo gets lodged there.
Dunno why I remembered that.
For rabbit pie you need humped backed rabbits.
They stop the crust from sagging ;D ;D ;D
