Looking at my new spuds today,
there starting to flower,
been in since 7th march is it worth a try,?
or am i being to impatient?
but they have been in there 10 whole weeks ::) ::)
Mine went in on March 1st and we had our first meal from them at the weekend. To my mind, the smaller yield at this end is well worth it for the feeling of triumph! Although we've been eating asparagus and salad stuff for some weeks, for me the first new potatoes are the real marker of a new season.
Depends on variety.
