Title: Spring Cabbage error
Post by: Hector on May 17, 2009, 14:10:24
I got some Cabbage seeds in a swap...I have seedlings ready to pot up and have now found out they are Cabbage Delaway (Heritage variety) and shouldn't be sown until August. Are they goners? What would you lot do with them? It says Irish, kale-like, so I wondered if I still plant out with fleece and hope for the best. Sounds a good one as says disease resistant/ come again sweet leaves.

Hi Hector,

Go for it, plant them out and you can always cut some early, as Spring(Summer) greens and leave some to overwinter. No problem
