Ive got a peice of ground which is spare in a corner around 10 ft x10ft i was thinking of maybe one or two plum trees, can anyone recommended a good variety for eating and maybe jams. plus i have no clue on space etc. any pointers?
Damsons are closely related to plums, are hardier and can produce really heavy crops - and in my humble opinion make the best jam in the world!
Victoria's popular but a bit bland. I like Cambridge Gage myself. Both of these are eaters. What's a good culinary/late eating plum?
