hi everyone!
just got my plot, in amongst all the weeds i have some strawberry plants can they be moved this time of year, none have any flowers on them yet?
Yes, water them in well. They're as tough as old boots. If they don't crop well, get rid of them and get new. They do tend to get viruses.
You can move them at any time of year and they will survive, although autumn is usually the best time. If you want to move them now they wil be ok but you might not get much fruit this year. Next year they will fruit better.
I like the title of the thread - they sound great - where can I get some?! ;D
hiya, wasps, welcome to the site and congrats on getting your plot ;D
