As the title suggests I have a 3/4 outside tap, and B&Q's etc only sell fittings/hosepipe for the more normal 1/2 inch tap.
Any ideas on the best place to buy for the 3/4?

Look on the 'Screwfix' web site under 'Pipe Fittings' you will find plenty of 22mil / 3/4 inch, not exactly sure what you are after, :)

Yup - I have looked there. I am looking for a hose to fit the bigger tap (so I get more throughput, and a connector to connect the (bigger) hose to the tap.
The 3/4" tap connectors connect to standard 1/2" hose. 3/4" pipe would normally only be used with pumps, fountains etc... you don't normally get tap adapters for it as it's not designed to be connected to a tap, it's not ideal for use as a hosepipe either.

Hoselock do a 'reducer' fitting that takes the fitting down from ¾" to ½"! or at least they did do a few years ago when I was faced with a similar problem.
I would say a standard 13mil/1/2inch plastic hose pipe connector to fit a outside water tap would with a bit of adaptation fit a 22mil/3/4inch water tap they are less than £2.00, :)
pop into any branch of plumb centre and they will sort you out. ;)
