Title: When to sow winter cabbages and brassicas?
Post by: pippy on May 05, 2009, 09:25:22
Hi all!  Now I've just planted out my summer brassicas from modules, I'm wondering when to start the winter cabbages, kale and PSB off.  Is next week about right?  I should have some space in my little grow house for them then. ;D

Would welcome your advice ..... :)

Ooohh great!  Thank you.  I.m hoping putting them in the outside grow house I can keep them ventilated better - last year I struggled with seedlings damping of and dying outside in the rain or being too hot and sunny inside so I was winter cabbage-less and just managed to nurse the PSB and kale!  I do find brassica seedlings tricky in this respect.

Best of luck with yours too Saddad :)
